What to contact us about
Report a regulation change
Rules change — permits are introduced, ordinances are amended, seasonal restrictions shift. If you know a regulation on one of our pages is out of date, we want to hear about it.
Submit a factual correction
If you believe a specific fact — a statute number, permit fee, agency phone number, or boundary description — is incorrect, email us with the correct information and a source link if available.
General enquiries
Questions about our methodology, sourcing standards, or editorial process. We also welcome tips about locations we have not yet covered.
What we cannot help with
- Legal advice. We summarise publicly available regulations. We are not attorneys and cannot advise on your specific situation, whether you are in compliance, or what the outcome of an enforcement action might be.
- Permit applications. We can point you to the relevant agency, but we do not process, file, or advise on permit applications. Contact the land management agency directly.
- Agency contact on your behalf. We cannot contact land management agencies on behalf of readers. All agency contact information on our pages links directly to the relevant authority.
- Identification of finds. We do not identify coins, artefacts, fossils, minerals, or plants. Local hobbyist clubs and specialist communities are better placed to help.
